Privacy Policy

This policy explains how NMajor Studios LLC (a Wyoming, USA limited liability company) handles personal data for TangoLango (www.tangolango.com and the mobile app). We aim to collect as little as possible.

1. What we collect

• Account data — your name, email, and subscription status.
• Learning data — the words and situations you ask to learn, your review history, and tutor conversations (needed to schedule and personalize your lessons).
• WhatsApp number — only if you choose to link it, to operate the tutor and the daily word message.
• Voice notes — if you send one to the tutor, it is transcribed to text to process your request; the audio is not retained as a voice profile.
• Support messages — anything you send via our forms.
• Privacy-respecting analytics — aggregate usage via a self-hosted analytics tool; no third-party ad trackers.

2. How we use it

To run your lessons, schedule reviews, operate the tutor, process your subscription, provide support, and improve the product in aggregate. We do not sell your personal data.

3. We do not train AI on your data

We do not use your conversations, learning data, or personal data to train AI models. Generation uses third-party AI providers solely to produce your study content under their no-training API terms.

4. Payments

Payments are handled by Polar (Polar Software Inc.) as Merchant of Record. We receive subscription status, not your card details. See Polar's privacy policy for their processing.

5. WhatsApp

If you link WhatsApp, messages between you and the tutor are processed via the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta). Don't send sensitive personal data to the tutor; it's a language coach, not a vault.

6. Data retention & deletion

Your learning corpus persists while your account is active (that's the product). Deleting your account triggers a hard cascade delete of your data within 30 days. To request deletion, use the methods below.

7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to opt out of "sale"/"sharing" (we do neither). To exercise any right, use our privacy request form, email our designated privacy address at privacy@tangolango.com, or use the contact form.

8. Children

TangoLango is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect their data; contact us if you believe a child has provided data.

9. International users & EU representative

We operate from the United States. EU/EEA users: our EU representative has not yet been appointed; this section will name them before any EU-targeted launch.
